The joint remote service of Suomi-piste will be trialled in three locations between 1 September 2025 and 27 February 2026: Imatra, Nurmes and Porvoo.

In the remote service, you manage your affairs and communicate with the authorities safely via a video connection. In the remote service trial, you can receive advice and manage your matters with the Tax Administration, Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela) and the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. The police are also involved in the trial at Imatra.

You can book an appointment for a remote service in advance. You can also use the service by coming directly at a remote service point and seeing if there happen to be appointments available at that moment.

Feedback on the service will be collected during the trial. Based on the feedback, it can be assessed whether the remote service would be suitable for wider use throughout Finland.
